Good Morning Geraldton!

I don’t know what Geraldton was up to last night but wow – the number
of sirens through the night! I also
think the weather bureau lied through its teeth about what the temperature was
going to be overnight. I ended up
getting up an hour or so after going to bed to fill a hot water bottle as I
just couldn’t get warm.
An uneventful departure by all neighbours this morning, but a pretty
slow start for all three of us, being cold and tired.
Another relaxing day at the van as it was very
dull for photos and due to the time difference – there was a date with the
computer at 2.00pm for the NRL match for the afternoon. The skies looked threatening for most of the
day and around 5.00pm, after having had a few goes with showers throughout the
day, down came the rain. It’s the first
real solid rain we’ve had on our trip and it set in for a good few hours.
